Hollymead Pool
Hi Hammerheads,
While we won't be having a swim season, the Hollymead Pool is attempting to open on June 15. See the news letter below for cost, rules, etc... It may be possible for one of our coaches to assist swimmers (i.e. swim lesson) but we are unsure of how that would work at this time. If you have a private pool, a coach could come there to give a lesson. If you are interested, please contact us and we will put you in touch with an available coach.
Hollymead Pool Update
Hollymead Pool Lap Swimming Announcement
At a Special on-line Meeting on 29 May 2020, the Hollymead Citizens Association Board passed a resolution to open the pool for lap swimming per the restrictions of the Governor’s Executive Order 61 and current Health Department regulations and rules. While the intent of the Board is to open the pool by 15 June, logistics are still being worked out by the Board, Sentry Management and Douglas Aquatics.
The resolution included a caveat that a minimum of 100 subscriptions will be required within three weeks of opening to avoid an unacceptable financial loss to HCA. If this goal is not achieved by the deadline, fees will be refunded and the pool closed for the season.
Please be mindful of all the below required procedures before registering. An on-line link for registering and paying is provided below. Also, you may mail in your payment to the address at the bottom of this announcement.
