Monday Round Up- Please Read!
Good morning Hammerheads,
I know you have been receiving a lot of emails from me. Please make sure to read them all as they have important information for the conclusion of our season.
* 13&O Champs- July 30 at Woodberry Forest
- We have volunteer positions we need to fill. I have opened them for sign ups on the website. I have updated descriptions for some of the positions that we do not normally fill.
- PLEASE NOTE, we will be fined if we do not fill or show up for these positions. If you sign up, PLEASE be there on time.
- Parents will be able to leave their position to watch their swimmers as needed.
- Please only sign up for timer and table if you have experience doing these jobs in the past.
* 12&U Champs - July 31 at Crozet
- The meet will be split into 3 sessions.
8 and under session:
Warmup: 8:00 – 9:15 am
Meet:9:30am – 12:00 pm
9-10 year old session:
Warmup: 1:00 – 2:20pm
Meet:2:30 – 4:45pm
11-12 year old session:
Warmup:5:30 – 6:30pm
Meet:6:45 – 9:15pm
- Volunteer check in will start prior to the above start times.
- Details are still be finalized and will be communicated as soon as possible.
- There is no rain date.
* Coaches Gifts
Thank you so very much to all the parents who have contributed to gifts for our amazing coaches. I am still collecting donations, cash or Venmo. My venmo name is @skye-durrer and my phone number for verification is 434-953-8353.
* Lake Monticello meet for 5-10 year olds- Wednesday July 21
- Please sign up for a volunteer position
- Arrival - 4:30pm (swimmers and volunteers)
- Theme - Super Hero
- Warm-ups - Hollymead 4:45pm, LMST 5:15pm
- Meet Starts - 6pm
- Directions / Parking
Our pool's parking lot is reserved for City. Please do not park in lot. You can park along Hollymead Drive (marked in green) and at Peace Lutheran. See link to parking map: https://hollymeadhammerheads.
- Seating
Hollymead team will sit along the side of the baby pool and diving well. Feel free to bring chairs.
City will set up along the parking lot side of the pool.
- Food & Beverage - Please bring your plenty of water, snacks, and dinner! Kona Ice will come to the pool and will set up on grass patch at back entrance of pool.
- Heat Sheets - will be emailed. Please print your own.
* Team Pizza Party - Wednesday July 28 530pm-9pm
- Pizza and Kona will be available for purchase
- all families welcome to come and have fun with our Hammerhead team.

- awards will be presented
* Spirit Week - July 26-July 29
- Monday July 26 - HMH kickball game at 630pm at Sutherland Middle School
- Tuesday July 27- make posters at practice
- Wednesday July 28- team Pizza party in the evening
- Thursday July 29- Donut day
- Friday July 30- CHAMPS for 13&over
- Saturday July 31- unofficial Champs for 12&under
