Hello Hammerheads!

Congratulations, we survived our first week of summer swim! We know it can be a little hectic getting adjusted to swim practice every day, but we had a fantastic first week and are ready to dive into week number 2.  

Just a few quick topics: 

• New Parent Meetings - we have two meeting times left - June 6 at 430pm and 545pm. Meet us for a brief introduction to swim team by the playground in the shade. 
• T-shirts and caps are coming this week! We will be distributing them on the pool deck, so be on the lookout. 
• Parking- please avoid parking or turning around in the circle by Hollymead House. If there is no parking in our lot, you may park along S Hollymead Dr or Insurance Ln (see attached map- not the road directly in front of the pool, but the intersecting road). 
• Declare for the meets and volunteer signups-  Please make sure to declare your children for the meets for the summer. They are all open, so if you know your schedule you can go ahead and mark them as attending, or decline so the coaches know they will not be there. Please make sure to volunteer for at least one half at every meet. We need all of our parents to be able to run a successful meet. (Go to Menu -Events and Swim Meets on our website)
• Email Delivery Issues- we are working with Swimtopia to try to resolve issues that we have had with email delivery. I will continue to post the emails on our website and on Facebook so hopefully everyone sees them. If you sew this email posted but did not receive it in your inbox, please let me know so I can report back to swimtopoa. ([email protected]) 
• Baby Pool is closed during our swim team practice. Please help us respect the pool rules and keep families out of the baby pool. 
• Be prepared for practice. The temperatures are finally climbing which means water is more essential. Have your swimmers ready to start a couple minutes before their practice time with water, a towel, goggles, sunscreen applied, and a cap or hair tie for longer hair.
