Hello Hammerheads, 

Spirit Week is coming....and we need your help! Please read this email in its entirety. There is a lot of important information. 

We have several items and volunteer spots that will need to be filled to make sure we can have a successful spirit week. You may sign up here . We will have bins at the pool deck starting Thursday July 20 to collect donations. We ask that Tye Die donations be received by July 21 and breakfast donations by July 26. 

* Monday July 24 - Tie Dye at 600pm outside of pool deck in grass

- You will need to sign up for a spot for your swimmer. 

- Bring your team shirt, or a plain white one if you don't want to dye that one. We have a few extra team shirts to purchase if you want to keep a white one and dye another. 

- If you sign up to bring supplies, please have them at the pool by Friday July 21. 

* Tuesday July 25 - Talent Show at 630pm on the pool deck pavilion

- Please sign up now! Swimmers are welcome to show off any talents they may have. Be creative, grab some friends, and have fun! 

- Bring a chair

* Wednesday July 26- Kickball at 6pm at Lakeside Middle School

* Thursday July 27- Pep Rally and Pancakes at 830am at the pool

- Please deliver all supplies to the pool by July 26. 

* Friday and Saturday CHAMPS - Champs will be on July 29 and 28 at Brooks Family YMCA. 

 - Please delare your swimmers now through swimtopia.  

- Each team is required to cover specific volunteer spots at each session. We will be sending a sign up soon to fill those spots. It is imperative that we cover our assigned duties. 

-We do not have specifics about times yet, but here is a schedule for age groups:

           Friday Morning- 11/12 

           Friday Afternoon & Evening- 13 & Over 

           Saturday Morning- 8 & Under 

           Saturday Afternoon- 9/10 

* Sunday July 30 - Banquet 

- The end of season party will be on Sunday July 30 at 6pm at the Hollymead Pool (weather permitting). 

- Please PRE ORDER your food here

- Cupcakes will be provided. 

- Please bring chairs, your own drinks and sides. 

Other important information....

Team Picture will be Wednesday July 20 at 4pm at the pool. PLEASE be on time and ready with excellent listening ears. Photos will be available for purchase for $15 each (shipping will be $8) from FStop. Please wear our team colors (red and/ or black). 

Coaches Gifts 

Our coaches work HARD, every day of the week, not only on the pool deck but so much behind the scenes as well. Each summer, we collect a donation from parents to gift to our coaches as a Thank You for all of their dedication, hard work, and commitment to our children and team. If you would like to contribute, please send your donation through Venmo (@Skye-Durrer, phone number 434-953-8353 and add a memo for Coaches' Gifts) or bring cash to me on the pool deck.

Unexpected Schedule Change?

We understand that schedule changes happen. If you have have signed up for a meet and can no longer attend, please email Helen at [email protected] as soon as possible. 

If you have signed up for a volunteer spot and are no longer able to cover it, PLEASE email me at [email protected]. I need to know so I can get the spot filled. Please do not just remove your name from the volunteer sign up as I do not get notified and do not know there is a spot that now needs to be filled.

Please declare your swimmer and sign up for your volunteer spot now, if you haven't already.
