Dear Hammerheads Families,

The wait is over... Hammerheads swim season officially begins tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th, and we are SO excited to welcome everyone back to the pool! We cannot wait to kick off another summer filled with swimming, friendships, team spirit, hard work, ribbons, laughter, and lots of Hammerhead memories. Whether this is your swimmer’s very first season or they are a returning veteran, we are thrilled to have your family as part of the team.

As always, the first couple of weeks can feel a bit hectic as we get everyone adjusted and work through the many moving parts of a new swim season. We truly appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding during this time. Our goal is to create a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, and your cooperation helps tremendously.

A few important reminders as we kick off the season:

• Please review the practice schedule here: https://hollymeadhammerheads.swimtopia.com/practice-times
• Have your swimmer ready to dive in from day one! Please bring:

- Goggles

- Swim cap

- Towels

- Sunscreen

- Warm clothes for after practice, as the water may still be chilly

- Tennis shoes for dryland in case water temperatures are too cold for swimmers to get in the pool

•  We ask that parents of 8 & Under swimmers, and any older swimmers who may need additional supervision, remain on the pool deck during practice.
• Parent deck etiquette reminder: Please allow our coaches to coach during practices. We kindly ask parents to “hang back” during practice times and avoid interfering  from the sidelines so swimmers can stay focused and coaches can effectively run practice.
• Please help us take care of our pool facility by returning everything to the way you found it after practice each day. Clean up any trash,  don't leave food, etc. 
• The baby pool will be CLOSED during practices.
• Team shirts will be available for pickup at the guard room.
• Team suits will also be available to try on for sizing.

We are still actively seeking team sponsorships for the season. Attached is a sponsorship flyer with additional details. We would greatly appreciate it if you would consider reaching out to local businesses you frequent and support to invite them to partner with our team.
