When & Where

At ACAC: 200 Four Seasons Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

4:30pm: Arrive & Park
4:45pm:

Hollymead Swimmers Check In with Coaches. Once you come down the main stairs onto the pool deck walk straight to the other side of the pool and we will be at a table checking swimmers in and letting swimmers know of their warmup lane assignments.
Volunteer Check In with Skye Durrer (my number is 434-953-8353, just in case). I will be near the entrance to the pool, hopefully at a table.

5:15pm: Hollymead Warmups
6:00pm: Meet Begins
10:00pm: Meet Ends

Reminders

A few reminders to help the meet run smoothly:

• Only swimmers and coaches are permitted behind the blocks and in the starting area.

• Please have all parents and swimmers stay out of the Clerk area. Swimmers should report to Clerk only when their event has been called.

• To allow our coaches to focus on supporting swimmers and managing the meet, please do not approach them with questions about heats, Clerk calls, event timing, or swimmer lineups. If you have questions, please reach out to a board member or volunteer whenever possible.

What to Bring

Flip-flops or Crocs (the pool deck will be hot!)
Plenty of water
Sunscreen
Team cap
Goggles (including a backup pair if possible)
Clear/non-tinted goggles if your swimmer has them
Towel
Snacks, dinner, or money for concessions

Parking:

There is limited parking at the ACAC pool. We encourage families to carpool to the Swim Meet. Parking on the street is allowed, but vehicles must be COMPLETELY ON THE GRASS. Emergency exits for the pool are identified and cannot be blocked.

We will have overflow parking at the law offices of Tucker Griffin Barnes located at 307 Rio Rd W.

The ACAC shuttle will run from 4-5 to shuttle families to the pool.

Seating in the pool area:

Visiting teams typically go to the far side of the pool, but you may sit anywhere you like. Please bring your own chairs as there are a limited number of chairs and umbrellas available. We can accommodate 8-10 standard sized tents on the pool deck. Please make sure they are set up in a single row against the chain link fence. We want to make sure there is enough walking room for swimmers, parents, and officials!

July 4th Hammerhead Invasion

We are taking over the fun at the Hollymead pool on July 4th! And we need your help. Join us for a fun-filled day at the Hollymead Pool featuring games, food, and lots of community spirit. This is not only a great way to celebrate Independence Day, but also an important fundraising opportunity for our team.

Stroke Clinic

Stroke Clinics are held on Saturday mornings.

Registration closes at 12:00 PM on Friday so we can appropriately staff each session. The cost is $5 cash per swimmer, per clinic.
