Dear Hollymead Swim Team Families,

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support the Hollymead Hammerheads! We have several opportunities to get involved, whether you enjoy working behind the scenes, helping with fundraising, or contributing to the overall direction of our team.

We are hoping to fill these positions and get volunteers involved now, well before the start of our next swim season. Having help in place early gives us time to prepare, plan ahead, and make the season run more smoothly for everyone!

Team Treasurer

Our treasurer plays a vital role in keeping our season running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a great way to get involved, support our swimmers, and make a direct impact on our swim team community.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Registration & Payment Tracking: Assisting with registration setup and tracking member fee payments.

- League Fees: Handling and submitting registration payments for the Jefferson Swim League (JSL).

- Coach Payroll: Arranging and managing payments for our coaching staff throughout the season.

- Financial Oversight: Maintaining basic records of team income and expenses and assisting the board with budgeting.

- Tax Preparation Support: Providing our CPA with the necessary financial information for the team's tax filings.

No complex accounting background is required, just good organization and a desire to help our team succeed. Training and support will be provided by our outgoing treasurer to ensure a smooth transition.

Additional Board Member

We are also interested in hearing from families who would like to serve on the board and help guide the team, support our swimmers and coaches, and contribute to the continued success of the Hammerheads. If you are interested in getting more involved in team leadership, we would love to hear from you!

Sponsorship Committee

We are looking for volunteers interested in helping grow and support our team sponsorship program. This may include reaching out to local businesses, connecting with potential sponsors, and helping build relationships with community partners. If you enjoy connecting with people and supporting local businesses while helping our swimmers, this could be a great fit!
